El cultivo de microalgas permite recuperar nutrientes de aguas residuales, dando lugar a un agua limpia y a una biomasa algal que puede valorizarse mediante digesti\u00f3n anaerobia en energ\u00eda (biog\u00e1s). La optimizaci\u00f3n de estos procesos promueve el escalado industrial de tecnolog\u00edas de bajo coste e impacto ambiental para el tratamiento de aguas y la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda renovable.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Dentro de este proyecto europeo, IMDEA Energ\u00eda, lidera el paquete de trabajo 2, cuyo objetivo es determinar los indicadores biol\u00f3gicos que permiten predecir el fallo de la digesti\u00f3n anaerobia. El escalado de este proceso desde los estudios de laboratorio hasta su implementaci\u00f3n industrial, habitualmente genera una p\u00e9rdida progresiva de eficiencia en la producci\u00f3n de biog\u00e1s.
