Ello incluye la fijaci\u00f3n de nitr\u00f3geno y la conversi\u00f3n de CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0en productos, lo cual ser\u00e1 un punto de inflexi\u00f3n en la lucha contra el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">La acci\u00f3n de coordinaci\u00f3n y apoyo (CSA) SUNRISE re\u00fane a las comunidades cient\u00edficas e industriales que desarrollar\u00e1n tecnolog\u00edas radicalmente novedosas para extraer energ\u00eda solar y fundar las bases de una econom\u00eda circular. SUNRISE incorpora tres estrategias cient\u00edfico-tecnol\u00f3gicas sin\u00e9rgicas: (i) Conversi\u00f3n electroqu\u00edmica con fuentes de energ\u00eda renovable; (ii) Conversi\u00f3n directa a trav\u00e9s de sistemas fotoelectroqu\u00edmicos; (iii) Conversi\u00f3n directa a trav\u00e9s de sistemas biol\u00f3gicos y bio-h\u00edbridos. Estas estrategias ser\u00e1n implementadas utilizando, para el dise\u00f1o de materiales innovadores, metodolog\u00edas de computaci\u00f3n de alto rendimiento, biom\u00edmica avanzada y biolog\u00eda sint\u00e9tica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Finalmente, las tecnolog\u00edas de conversi\u00f3n de energ\u00eda solar en productos qu\u00edmicos, ser\u00e1n integradas en el sistema industrial. En 10 a\u00f1os, SUNRISE situar\u00e1 la producci\u00f3n de combustibles renovables en un nivel de madurez de la tecnolog\u00eda TRL9 y un coste de 0.4 \u20ac\/L, as\u00ed como la fotoconversi\u00f3n de CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0atmosf\u00e9rico a TRL7. La ambici\u00f3n es convertir hasta 2,500 toneladas de CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0y producir m\u00e1s de 100 toneladas de productos qu\u00edmicos b\u00e1sicos (por hect\u00e1rea y a\u00f1o), logrando una ganancia del 300% en energ\u00eda, en relaci\u00f3n a las mejores pr\u00e1cticas actuales, y desarrollando dispositivos en una escala de 1,000 hect\u00e1reas. Esto requiere nuevas soluciones para absorber >90% de luz y almacenar >80% de los electrones foto-generados en combustibles\/ qu\u00edmicos producidos en convertidores de energ\u00eda solar a gran escala, y en estrecha interacci\u00f3n con ciencias medioambientales y sociales para optimizar su despliegue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">SUNRISE transformar\u00e1 Europa en l\u00edder de las tecnolog\u00edas disruptivas que cerrar\u00e1n el ciclo de carbono y proporcionar\u00e1n una dimensi\u00f3n solar a la industria qu\u00edmica, con enormes beneficios econ\u00f3micos, sociales y medioambientales.
