Importantes retos identificados en esta convocatoria son<strong> el despliegue masivo de energ\u00edas renovables y el desarrollo de sistemas de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda.<\/strong> Los planes para alcanzar un sistema el\u00e9ctrico totalmente descarbonizado requieren la instalaci\u00f3n de un gran n\u00famero de centrales solares fotovoltaicas, e\u00f3licas y de otras energ\u00edas renovables. Sin embargo, en su configuraci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica, la mayor\u00eda de estas centrales <strong>no pueden proporcionar algunos servicios, como la potencia de salida regulada,<\/strong> que s\u00ed pueden aportar las tecnolog\u00edas tradicionales (como los ciclos combinados).<\/p>\n<p>En este contexto, los convertidores electr\u00f3nicos de potencia son una tecnolog\u00eda clave para permitir la inyecci\u00f3n flexible de potencia activa y reactiva en las redes el\u00e9ctricas. En la mayor\u00eda de los casos, deben utilizarse conjuntamente varios dispositivos para cumplir todos los servicios solicitados por el gestor de la red de transporte (GRT) (convertidores CA\/CC y CC\/CC, bater\u00edas y elementos pasivos). El dise\u00f1o de sistemas din\u00e1micos que puedan construirse y configurarse de forma sencilla para compensar la potencia activa y\/o reactiva es de gran inter\u00e9s comercial.
