IMDEA Energ\u00eda plays a leading role in this project as an innovation center.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"559\" data-end=\"1081\">David Serrano took part in the roundtable discussion entitled \u201cPublic\u2013Private Collaboration,\u201d alongside representatives from the regional administration and the business and technology ecosystem, including Vicente Parras, Deputy Director General for Technological Innovation of the Community of Madrid; Rafael Luque, CEO &amp; Co-Founder of Ariema; Javier Vi\u00f1a, Co-Founder and R&amp;D Grants Manager at Evoenzyme; and Emilia Mart\u00ednez, Director of Asset Optimization, Mathematics and Tech Labs at Repsol, who moderated the session.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1083\" data-end=\"1297\">The debate highlighted the need to strengthen cooperation mechanisms among research centers, companies, and public administrations in order to accelerate knowledge transfer and bring innovative solutions to market.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1299\" data-end=\"1558\">The conference also featured roundtable discussions focused on academia\u2013industry relations and the creation of strategic alliances, addressing the technological, regulatory, and industrial challenges associated with the decarbonization of the aviation sector.<\/p>\n<h5 data-start=\"1560\" data-end=\"1593\">About Madrid Vuela Sostenible<\/h5>\n<p data-start=\"1595\" data-end=\"1895\">The <span style=\"color: #00ccff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #00ccff;\" href=\"http:\/\/energia.imdea.org\/porfolio\/mad-vuela-sostenible-hub-de-innovacion-de-combustibles-de-aviacion-sostenibles-saf-de-la-comunidad-de-madrid\/\">MADRID VUELA SOSTENIBLE<\/a><\/strong><\/span> technological innovation hub aims to generate and share knowledge on new technologies in the fields of decarbonization and the circular economy, facilitating waste recovery processes for their subsequent use as raw materials in the production of low-carbon aviation fuels.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1897\" data-end=\"2102\">This will help accelerate the deployment of new industrial processes that contribute to the transition toward a more sustainable energy model, reducing CO\u2082 emissions and helping to mitigate global warming.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2104\" data-end=\"2669\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Within this initiative, IMDEA Energ\u00eda is working on exploring new sustainable SAF production routes through the conversion of CO\u2082 and various types of urban, agricultural, and industrial organic waste, as well as the use of yeasts\u2014establishing synergies between biotechnology and catalysis\u2014while also assessing their sustainability from environmental, economic, and social perspectives. In doing so, IMDEA Energ\u00eda contributes to strengthening research and innovation, increasing visibility to address emerging global challenges in the field of sustainable
