{"id":4035,"date":"2022-06-14T11:38:29","date_gmt":"2022-06-14T11:38:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nuevaimdeaenergia.es\/?post_type=mec-events&#038;p=4035"},"modified":"2022-06-21T11:23:17","modified_gmt":"2022-06-21T11:23:17","slug":"8th-international-workshop-of-layered-nanostructured-materials-2022","status":"publish","type":"mec-events","link":"https:\/\/energia.imdea.org\/en\/events\/8th-international-workshop-of-layered-nanostructured-materials-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"8th International Workshop of Layered &#038; Nanostructured Materials 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the\u00a0<b>8th International Workshop of Layered &amp; Nanostructured Materials 2022<\/b><strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0which will be held in Toledo (Spain) at the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hotelbeatriztoledo.com\/es\/\">Hotel Beatriz Toledo Auditorium\u00a0&amp; SPA<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The conference is the 8th edition of a series of International Workshops on Layered &amp; Nanostructured Materials conducted biannually (2006-Alessandria, Italy; 2008-Vercelli, Italy; 2010-Bochum, Germany; 2012-Campinas, Brazil; 2014-Mulhouse, France; 2016-Kutna Hora, Czech Republic; 2018-Krakov, Poland). The present workshop will focus on the smart design of layered materials including silicates and zeolites, phosphates\/phosphonates, layered double hydroxides (LDH), clays, transition metal oxides and organic-inorganic hybrids\/MOFs, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The scientific programme will be divided into 4 topical sessions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Synthesis of Materials<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Characterization<\/li>\n<li>Modification &amp; Processing<\/li>\n<li>Devices &amp; Applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each session will be introduced by a plenary lecture on the state-of-the art, given by internationally renowned scientists:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thomas BEIN (Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich)<\/li>\n<li>Ji\u0159\u00ed \u010cEJKA (Charles University Prague)<\/li>\n<li>Isabel D\u00cdAZ (Institute of Catalysis &amp;
