Scientific Workshop: Thermochemical conversion of biogenic waste to jet fuel

The BIOCTANE Scientific Workshop will encompass a full day of lectures and poster presentations tailored for all who would like to learn more about thermochemical processes for the production of renewable fuels.
The different lecture topics cover the full process chain, starting by the conversion of feedstock, such as biogenic wastes into platform molecules in the morning. After the lunch break there will be an opportunity to present your research poster towards the other participants and for networking among them. For the posters, any topics within the field of renewable platform chemicals and fuels are welcome. The afternoon sessions will cover the upgrading of platform molecules to specification compliant jet fuels.

Speakers are renowned experts from the BIOCTANE project and the broader field of process engineering using renewably sourced feedstock and energy sources. You can find more details on the next page. The workshop is fully funded, only cost for travel and accommodation will need to be covered by the participants. We will provide participation certificates for all participants.
