Environmental Education Day

To mark Environmental Education Day on 26 January, IMDEA Energy invites students to participate in a special scientific outreach event focusing on the current challenges and solutions for a sustainable energy transition.

During the event, participants will be able to explore first-hand the institute’s research in areas such as renewable energy, energy storage, advanced biofuels and decarbonisation technologies.

The activity includes interactive science workshops, practical demonstrations and participatory activities designed to encourage curiosity, critical thinking and understanding of the key role that science plays in protecting the environment. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with laboratory materials and equipment, meet young researchers and discover how applied research contributes to building a cleaner and more efficient energy future.
