You may exercise these rights using any of the contact methods indicated above and including a photocopy of your national ID card.

 

Right Content
Access To access your data and obtain confirmation as to whether or not the data are being processed.

 

Rectification To correct data that are inaccurate or incomplete.

 

Erasure To request that your data be erased when they are no longer needed, when required by law, or when you wish to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your data, among other reasons.

 

Objection To request that your data not be processed on the grounds of personal circumstances, in which case the data will no longer be processed after the reasons have been assessed.

 

Restriction of processing To request the restriction of processing while your request to exercise other rights is being assessed, when you oppose the erasure of the data or wish to have the data retained for the exercise or defence of legal claims, even though IMDEA ENERGÍA no longer needs the data for the purposes of the processing.
Portability To receive the personal data you provided us or which we obtained during your relationship with the Foundation, in electronic format.

 

Withdrawal of consent To request that your data not be processed in the future, although this will not affect the data processed to date.

 

You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you believe that your data are being processed in violation of the law.

Why are we entitled to do this?

Because, by submitting an application, you give your consent to the processing of your data for the indicated purposes. If you submit data on third parties for the purpose of providing references, you must obtain their consent in advance.

Your data will not be disclosed to third parties.

 

For how long will your data be stored?

The results of the recruitment process will be kept for three years after the process ends for the purpose of dealing with any liabilities or claims that might arise in the future, unless they need to be kept for longer so that the body that subsidised the project you applied for can audit the process.

The processing of images by video surveillance systems and access control are based on IMDEA ENERGÍA’s legitimate interest in protecting its property and ensuring the safety of its workers and persons who access the facilities.

 

Who else has access to your data?

The video surveillance and security service is provided by SASEGUR, S.L., which accesses the data on behalf of IMDEA ENERGÍA.

 

At the request of law enforcement agencies or judges and courts, the images may be disclosed for the purpose of investigations or proceedings, or when this is necessary for the exercise or defence of the rights of IMDEA ENERGÍA or those of relevant third parties.

 

For how long will your data be stored?

Your data will be deleted within one month of collection or recording, without prejudice to images or records that must be kept for investigation purposes, which shall be retained until the investigation is concluded or the liabilities arising from access to the premises or actions filmed are determined. Access records not related to visits to the premises will be kept for one year.

For what purpose is your data processed?

For the purpose of maintaining contact with companies, institutions, business people and processionals that collaborate with or to whom IMDEA ENERGÍA provides a service and to identify the legal representatives of these companies in the event that we engage in a legal relationship with them.

For what purpose is your data processed?

To process your registration and participation in the event and, where applicable, to issue certificates and take photographs of the event to promote it, and to inform you about other events that IMDEA ENERGÍA organises or participates in in the future.

 

Why are we entitled to do this?

On the basis of our legitimate interest in processing your request to participate in the event. To take photographs and to send you information about other relevant research events organised by the Institute or in connection with IMDEA ENERGÍA’s activities in the future, with your consent.

 

Who else has access to your data?

If you have agreed to appear in photographs taken at the event, your picture may appear as a participant in the event on the Institution’s website and social media.

 

For how long will your data be stored?

Data relating to your registration will be kept for a maximum of three years from the date of collection; your contact details will be kept as long as you do not withdraw your consent to receive information, and pictures of the events will be filed in the Institute’s photography archives, but you may object to this at any time.

For what purpose is your data processed?

Only the contact details needed to respond to your request to exercise your right, and to process your application in accordance with the statutory procedure on transparency, will be required, of which a record will be kept and, where applicable, to notify you of the decision in relation to your application.

Your data will be deleted after five years, which is the maximum statute of limitations period for infringements of obligations relating to transparency.

For what purpose is your data processed?

To manage the performance and optimisation of your work experience programme, to allow access to the facilities and relevant laboratories and to pay the agreed amounts.

 

Why are we entitled to do this?

Because it is necessary for the performance of the work placement agreement.

 

Who else has access to your data?

Your training centre may request information on the outcome of your work placement.

 

Your data will be provided to the bank IMDEA ENERGÍA works with for the payment of the agreed amounts.

 

Your photograph will be published in the Foundation’s annual report for the year you complete your work placement, in addition to information about the project you participated in and the work placement.

 

For how long will your data be stored?

Data relating to the performance of the work experience will be kept for three years after you finish your placement and data relating to payment will be kept for six years, in accordance with commercial regulations, unless the information may be audited by the bodies that subsidise the Foundation’s projects, in which case they will be kept for the relevant statute of limitations period.

For what purpose is your data processed?

To manage the data needed for the signing of agreements for the creation of research groups and to apply for grants, aid and funding from official bodies. To allow access to the Institute’s facilities and computer resources. To promote research in compliance with the objectives of the Foundation by disseminating projects in which it participates and sending information.

 

Why are we entitled to do this?

Because it is necessary for the performance of the research agreement between the Institute and the body you belong to. To publish your photograph, with your consent.

 

Who else has access to your data?

Public or private, national or international grant-giving bodies for the purpose of justifying the Institute’s projects in accordance with the General Law on Subsidies.

 

Your professional information and photograph will be published on the Institute’s website and annual report, in addition to photographs taken at events you participate in and videos or pictures taken while carrying out projects for the Institute.

 

For how long will your data be stored?

For the duration of the research agreement. After the agreement has ended, the data will be stored for five years, unless it needs to be retained for the periods during which the Foundation may be audited by grant-giving bodies that fund its projects.

The data necessary for the sending of the newsletter will be erased as soon as you unsubscribe, unless they need to be retained for the purpose of contacting you about other topics that you have expressed an interest in.
