Selection Process

The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) aims to contribute to the development of a more attractive career path for researchers and is based on the principles set out in the European Charter for Researchers, the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers and an open, transparent and merit-based recruitment policy.

On November 2021, the European Commission awarded IMDEA Energía the Seal of Excellence in Human Resources for Research-HRS4R, thus distinguishing the centre’s work in adopting good practices in researcher recruitment, generating and supporting the development of an attractive and stimulating European labour market for scientists.

All IMDEA Energía selection processes consist of the following phases:

-Identify the job offer of interest to which you want to apply, check the fulfillment of the mandatory requirements and apply for the job offer by attaching the requested documents.

-Applications that meet the minimum requirements established for the position will continue in the selection process and the selection committee will evaluate their merits according to the criteria established in the call for applications.

-The applications with the best evaluation will pass to the interview phase.

-The selected candidate will receive notification from the employment platform and the HR department to confirm the steps to follow for incorporation.
