IMDEA Energy participated in Transfiere, the European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, which has established itself as one of the most important events in the R&D&I ecosystem in Europe. The event brought together hundreds of companies, research centres, universities, public administrations, start-ups and international entities to promote collaboration, knowledge transfer and the development of technological solutions with a real impact on society and the market.

Transfiere 2026 celebrated its fifteenth edition at the Malaga Trade Fair and Congress Centre as a strategic space for connecting science, technology and innovation, with a diverse programme of thematic panels, conferences and networking activities addressing key issues such as sustainability, energy autonomy, dual technologies and advanced materials.

During these days, IMDEA Energy, together with the rest of the IMDEA institutes, had the opportunity to showcase its lines of research and technological advances, as well as to explore possible synergies with players in the energy, industrial and scientific sectors. Participation in Transfiere reaffirms the Institute’s commitment to knowledge transfer and to promoting innovative solutions applied to the energy and environmental fields.

Transfiere 2026 was attended by more than 600 entities from the innovation ecosystem, along with delegations from numerous countries and international organisations, underscoring the importance of this forum as a platform for activating public-private partnerships and promoting the internationalisation of innovative projects.
