FEINDEF: Spain’s International Defence and Security Exhibition

The International Defence and Security Exhibition of Spain (FEINDEF) is the leading event in the sector at the national level. It has become a key platform for international cooperation, technological innovation, and the development of industrial capabilities in the fields of defence and security, and is held with the institutional support of the Spanish Ministry of Defence.

FEINDEF 2025 will take place from May 12 to 14 at IFEMA Madrid, occupying more than 50,000 m² of exhibition space across three halls.

IMDEA Energy will participate as part of the joint stand of Fundación Madri+d, which is also organizing a range of parallel activities. Among them is an event on the morning of May 13, in collaboration with CDTI, where upcoming European funding opportunities related to the defence sector will be presented. A brokerage event, in both physical and online formats, will also be held to facilitate networking between entities and promote collaborative partnerships.

Additionally, as part of the event, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) has launched a Pool of Applicants for the 2025 calls of the European Defence Fund (EDF), aimed at supporting the creation of consortia and promoting active participation in collaborative projects. Stakeholders in the sector are encouraged to register and showcase their expertise and interests.

The 2025 edition will host more than 500 exhibiting companies, including over 100 international firms, and expects to welcome around 35,000 professionals from the sector. Its global scope is reflected in the presence of 100 official delegations and representatives from 65 countries, with 35% of exhibition stands coming from international participants.
