Technology Entrepreneurship Workshop

On Tuesday, January 23^rd, 2024 the network of IMDEA Institutes will hold the Technology Entrepreneurship Workshop aimed at the staff of the IMDEA Institutes interested in technological entrepreneurship and the creation of spinoffs. It has been conceived as a practical workshop based on the experience of IMDEA researchers who have founded spinoffs recently to bring research outputs to the market.

The objective of the event is to provide practical information and business cases that allow the creation of new spinoffs of the IMDEA Institutes as a means to transferr research outputs to the society, generate professional opportunities for researchers and contribute to the financing of the research lines of the Institutes. Specific entrepreneurship initiatives may be proposed at the round table to start discussions and get feedback from experts and entrepreneurs.

We acknowledge the collaboration of speakers from Fundación para el Conocimiento Madri+d and Insight Gravity, who will make introductions on creation of spinoffs and commercial validation of research outputs, as well as, the researchers who will share their entrepreneurial experiences.

Attendees must register through the technology transfer managers of their respective Institutes.
