Next April 25th at 12 we will hold a new session of the seminar for newcomers in the auditorium.
The first speaker will be Dra. Eva Romaní Cubells, from the Thermochemical Processes Unit, with the talk entitled “Sand-like Nanoparticles for Cancer Treatment”.
Dra. Eva Romaní Cubells is currently a postdoctoral researcher at IMDEA Energy, working in the Thermochemical Processes Unit. Here, she is involved in the TODENZE project (Towards Dendritic Zeolites), in a line of research that focuses on unravelling the potential of dendritic zeolites for drug delivery applications, particularly for cancer treatment. During her PhD studies at the Rey Juan Carlos University, she worked on the synthesis of mesoporous silica nanoparticles and novel Mesoporous Organosilica Drugs (MODs) to encapsulate chemotherapeutic drugs and deliver them specifically to cancer cells.
