IMDEA Energy, together with the Rey Juan Carlos University, the Spanish Catalysis Society and the Spanish Zeolites Group has organized the 9th Czech-Italian-Spanish Conference on Molecular Sieves and Catalysis (CIS-9).

The event is being held June 4-7 in Toledo and is the 9th edition of a series of International Conferences aimed at bringing together scientists involved in the synthesis, characterization, modeling, engineering and application of molecular sieves and related materials (zeolites, ordered mesoporous solids, layered and pillar structures, MOFs, COFs, etc.) in a variety of fields, such as petroleum refining, petrochemistry, fine chemistry, energy and environmental protection.

The comprehensive scientific program includes as main topics the design, synthesis and modification of materials; characterization and advanced modeling or applications in catalysis with poster sessions and more than 70 presentations by researchers from Spanish centers such as the Institute of Chemical Technology (ITQ) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and CSIC, the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragon (INMA), the UNED University or the University of Malaga, as well as international centers (Charles University – Czech Republic or STEMS – CNR- Italy) and some examples of companies, such as Repsol.
