Self-consumption photovoltaic installation project of 160 kWn financed by the Next Generation EU Funds of the European Union’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan
At the IMDEA Energy Foundation, we have installed a 160 kWn photovoltaic self-consumption system at the IMDEA Energy Foundation in Móstoles, Madrid, contributing to the reduction of our carbon footprint and the transition to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly economy. Thanks to this installation, we have achieved an estimated 30% energy saving in our annual electricity consumption, equivalent to a reduction of 80 tons of CO₂ emissions per year.
This project was made possible thanks to funding from the the Next Generation EU Funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the European Union, which covered part of the investment, boosting our commitment to renewable energy and self-consumption. The funding received has allowed this installation to be tailored to the needs of our Foundation, ensuring a rapid return on investment and a positive impact on our energy costs.
