IMDEA Energy analyzes the management of Industrial and Intellectual Property at IP Perspectives IX
The ninth edition of the IP Perspectives event organized by ABG Intellectual Property was held on June 1st, with the participation of Jesús Palma and Félix Marín, from the IMDEA Energy Institute, together with around 120 specialists from different entities. New developments in the management of Industrial and Intellectual Property were discussed, such as the European Unitary Patent and the setting up of the Unified Patent Court, UPC.
The IMDEA Energy Institute, which has an important portfolio of technologies protected by patents and other protection systems such as utility models, intellectual property registries, trademarks and industrial secrets, participated in the debates on the internationalization of the protection of intangible assets, the management of license agreements and other ways of transferring research results to society, obtaining a fair economic return and on technology watching tools and their use to carry out patentability and Freedom to Operate (FTO) studies.
