Bienal Ciudad y Ciencia

La tercera edición de la Bienal Ciudad y Ciencia se celebrará en Barcelona y Madrid entre los días 21 y 26 de febrero de 2023. La organización de la Bienal se hará con la colaboración del Círculo de Bellas Artes, impulsada por la Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECYT).

Los siete Institutos IMDEA trabajan desde siete áreas científicas diferentes con un objetivo común: mejorar la vida de todos. ¿Te gustaría saber de qué están fabricadas las cosas que te rodean? ¿Y cómo se inventan nuevos materiales para aviones, baterías, o implantes corporales? ¿Cuánto sabes sobre Nanociencia y Nanotecnología y de sus aplicaciones en Medicina, almacenamiento y producción de energía, o en el sector de los transportes? ¿Sabías que, desde los primeros asentamientos humanos, el agua ha sido clave en el desarrollo y evolución de la ciudad? ¿Y cómo los hábitos urbanos influyen en el ciclo hidrológico y, en consecuencia, en el medio ambiente? ¿Crees que es posible un “Internet de las cosas (IoT)” sin baterías, que funcione captando energía de la luz ambiental? ¿Eres consciente de la importancia del software en tu vida? ¿Conocemos realmente la importancia que tiene la nutrición para nuestra salud? ¿Y en qué consiste la nutrición de precisión?

Los investigadores de IMDEA Agua, IMDEA Software, IMDEA Alimentación, IMDEA Networks, IMDEA Energía, IMDEA Nanociencia e IMDEA Materiales, te ayudarán a responder a estas y otras muchas preguntas. Descubre con ellos el maravilloso mundo de la ciencia.
