TA68 – IMDEA-IME-HTPU-LAB

Location

Av. Ramón de La Sagra, 3 28935 Móstoles, Spain

Description

The High Temperature Processes Laboratory (HTPU-LAB) is dedicated to supporting materials synthesis, characterization, and testing. It is equipped with a laboratory-scale 7kWe high-flux solar simulator and high-temperature furnaces capable of reaching up to 1700 ºC. The lab provides access to high-performance material characterization equipment from IMDEA Energy, including Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES), Thermogravimetric Analysis/Differential Scanning Calorimetry (TGA/DSC), and UV/VIS/IR spectroscopy. The services offered include material synthesis, advanced materials analysis and characterization, surface treatment, metallography, micro-hardness analysis, and thermal analysis.

Testing Capabilities
